IT'S A BEST OF 2015 LIST
Tame Impala - Currents [Aj's Pick]

2015 release from the veteran indie folk band led by John Darnielle. “Beat the Champ is about professional wrestling, which was an avenue of escape for me when I was a kid. Wrestling was low-budget working class entertainment back then, strictly UHF material. It was cheap theater."
Sharon Jones & The Dap Kings
"It's A Holiday Soul Party"
 [unanimous pick]
Iconic guitarist, songwriter, vocalist and three-time Grammy-Award winner Brian Setzer and The Brian Setzer Orchestra will release Rockin' Rudolph - their first studio Christmas album in 10 years - in October 2015 via Surfdog Records. The 18-piece band will support the album with a major concert tour, the "12th Annual Christmas Rocks! Tour," delivering the rocking and colorful holiday extravaganza they're known for
Leon Bridges
"Coming Home" [Javi's Pick]
  • Highly anticipated 2015 debut album from Fort Worth, TX native Leon Bridges. Coming Home was produced by Austin Jenkins and Josh Block of White Denim. Bridges began writing and performing 1950s and '60s style soul music that was described by Austin 360 as "a transmission straight from the heart." He began to attract followers and his break in the music industry is attributed to a run in he had at a bar with White Denim guitarist Austin Jenkins.
Alabama  Shakes
Sound & Color [Chris' Pick]

The highly anticipated sophomore studio album. Alabama Shakes’ Sound & Color is the follow-up to the band's Gold-certified debut album, Boys & Girls, which earned the group three Grammy nominations, including a nod for Best New Artist. Sound & Color demonstrates the tremendous strides made by a group of musicians who had only been playing together for a few months when they recorded their first album.

Willie Nelson - Tougher Than Leather
Boy this is a true concept album. It is the story of a woman whose lover dies in a duel. The  story's antagonist, tougher than leather, finds himself in love with the very woman whose lover he was responsible for killing. A truly beautiful album from beginning to end. This album might be regarded as Willie's personal reflection on aging and dying as the record came about during his own personal dilemma with his health and a collapsed lung. Come pick up this great record for the holidays and have a cup of Nicoletti Coffee.
