Major & University --- Engineering

Many students told me that they didn't know a lot of universities. I really suggest that students should go out and visit the college campus, and even talk with the current college students and know much better regarding the university's culture and faculty.
Last week, we discussed about Finance majors and college selection. This week we are talking about students who are interested in engineering. Below is the ranking for engineering schools.

Recently Engineering majors are the most popular mjors in the US。 Not only because the engineering knowledge is very useful in this industrial and modern environment, but also because students in these majors are much easier to find a well-paid job. I can tell you a secret: according to research, among the top 10 salary majors, 8 of them are engineering! If we break down, there are chemical engineering, civil engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and geological engineering.

When selecting schools, we HAVE TO look at these data: Acceptance rate, Freshman Retention rate and SAT/ACT Average. These are really important during college application. You can tell whether this school is "easier" to get in based on Acceptance rate; Freshman Retention rate can show how great the college is; average score can also help us estimate how good we are among all the applicants. If you need these information, please email Our college consultant will explain in details.
