Dear Friends of Social Landscapes

We're excited to announce that we have got a new webpage! Check it out and don't hesitate to give us feedback. There are a couple of sections that are still under construction (such as the meet the team and principles sections), but the main content is live.

We're also ready to take on more garden design, maintenance and consultancy work, supporting with food growing or planting up the garden of your choice - if you know people who look for gardeners in South London, please pass our details on.

This month

We're having an Orcharding session along with the Open Orchard Project in Hillside Gardens Park.

We are starting the seriously playful storytelling events at Treadwell again with Syl and Hannah as the main storytellers. They are great opportunities to meet magic and mystery while using story as a way to explore our own psychology of change and transformation.

We are running our second Introduction to Permaculture course of the year this month. It suddenly fills up quickly after the holidays  - so places might need to be booked sooner rather than later.

In October and November we're running 3 gardening training sessions at Bandstand Beds on Clapham Common:

Oct 15th - Natural Pest Control
Nov 5th - Winter Vegetables
Nov 19th - Soil and Compost

Room Available??

On another note: Is there anyone in South London who has or knows of anyone who has a room available for our friend Heather? Ideally in a house where people interact and engage with each other.
If yes, let us know!

Tuesday, September 20, 2016
7:00pm  9:00pm

Stories are back at Treadwell!

This month, we will start by sharing some poetry and we will hear stories about trees. We'll explore what these great beings tell us about our inner landscapes in a seriously playful way.

Come along, bring a friend and be prepared to rewild your imagination.

Orchard Care & Maintenance

Saturday, September 10, 2016

Hillside Gardens Park

Come join the Open Orchard and Social Landscapes for a session on Orchard Care and Maintenance in Hillside Gardens Park.

Some trees need summer pruning, others need mulching; we will plant russian comfrey around them to help build healthy soil and reduce the cages of larger trees to free up the crown.
