Mini-Grant Events
Thanks to the National Catholic Sisters Week, ACSSJ is able to fund four member colleges to host events honoring the Sisters of Saint Joseph.  Below are the dates and descriptions of the events they will be hosting. Click on the member colleges to find out more about their events. 

Avila University
Event Date: March 8

Avila University will host a discussion with Sister Justine Gitanjali Senapati. She will present her life as an Indigenous Indian Sister of St. Joseph, and discuss Avila's role in advocating for global sustainable development and human rights.

St. Catherine University
Event Date:
March 10

St. Catherine University will host the event, Habits and Hi-Jabs. Overall it will be an opportunity to learn about each other's past and present communities, in order to be better allies and find the similarities as well as honoring differences.

At the Carondelet Center's Open House, Mount Saint Mary's will display an exhibit highlighting Sister Mary Gerald Leahy, CSJ, a biologist who conducted research on the mosquito carrying the Zika virus. This event will be kick-off St. Joseph’s week.
Chestnut Hill College
Event Date: March 14

Chestnut Hill College will host, Beyond Borders: Mission at the Heart of Immigration and Advocacy with Sister Veronica Roche, SSJ. The talk will occur on March 14. This will be the kick-off event for St. Joseph’s week.

Professional Development

The Association for Student Affairs at Catholic Colleges and Universities Conference will be hosted at St. Norbert College, July 9-22. They seek proposals, due by March 1, for workshops that connect to any of the Principles of Good Practice for Student Affairs at Catholic Colleges and Universities. 
Federation Conference
Sign up for the Federation Conference that will take place July 9-12. The event will offer child care and ACSSJ will have a gathering at the conference. Apply for a scholarship here, before March 1.
International Centre

Check out the Centre International of St. Joseph's professional developmental workshops this summer. The fee range offered gives you the opportunity to determine what best fits your budget. Find out more on their website
Spirits of Fire

This year long program consists of an immersion experience in November 2016 and October 2017, as well as a series of modules on CSSJ spirituality and leadership. To find out more about this program follow this link
