School is out for summer and this month, CoD is seeking high school and college students to apply to our revamped Student Voice Programs. These programs will add student perspectives to national conversations about dignity, education, and SEL. If you know someone who would be a good fit, let them know!
For parents and teachers looking for ways to continue SEL during the summer, please see our Tiny Guide Parent Facilitation Guide filled with tools to facilitate learning and make the most of the teachable moments that come up. We also have activity recommendations and a self-care checklist to keep kids engaged, active, and healthy!
CoD will also be appearing at several conferences and events in the next few months -please see our events page for updates. Notably, on July 14th, CEO Charlie Kuhn will be working with senior leaders and administrators to enhance student life programs in Eaglebrook Summer Retreat – Foundations of Dignity and Its Connection to Belonging.
In just two weeks, starting July 19th, Charlie will be leading a two-day online workshop called “Human Becomings - Getting Better at Communication Skills to Serve Our Evolving World,” alongside Ginger Carlson, EdD. The topics covered include “Receptive Communication & Language,” and “Productive Communication and Language,” and can be attended as an individual or a team. To learn more and register, click here.
