JOIN US IN CELEBRATING THE OPENING OF THE NEW LORAIN HIGH SCHOOL

The Lorain City Schools invites you to attend the new Lorain High School Community Open House Celebrations scheduled for September 8, 9 and 10! Your support of our school system has been critical to the opening of this fourteenth and final new school building, all made possible through your generous support. Here's the lineup of events:

Thursday, September 8, 2016 - Community Tours - 5:00-8:00PM

Lorain High School's JROTC students will be leading tours of the new high school from 5:00-8:00PM. Light refreshments will be available.

Friday, September 9, 2016 - Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and Community Celebration - 5:00-6:30PM

  • 5:00 - Ribbon Cutting Ceremony in the Gymnasium
  • 6:30 - Titan Student Parade to George Daniel Field for the first home football game of the season!

Saturday, September 10, 2016 - LCS Endowment Fund 

  • 3:00-7:00PM - Community Tours
  • 4:00-7:00PM - Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser

Tickets will not be available at the door. Please pre-order tickets thrugh Bryan Koury at (440) 830-4009 or bkoury@lorainschools.org. Deadline is Tuesday, September 6, 8:00AM.

All proceeds will benefit students through the LCS Endowment Fund. Enjoy a spaghetti dinner, served to you by the Lorain City Schools administrative team, tour the high school, and have some fun!

The process of creating a plan for the future of Lorain has started, and your ideas are critical to its success! The Plan will guide and coordinate efforts within the city, ensuring its continued success for future generations.
