THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT DURING A DIFFICULT TIME As the Lorain Schools continues to grieve the sudden loss of one of our own, I want to express my sincere appreciation to the Lorain community for your outpouring of love and support.
Sherri Hutlock grew up in Lorain, graduated from Lorain High School, and spent her entire career in this district. She touched many lives, and her loss is felt deeply in our schools and throughout the area. Many of us are experiencing heightened shock, disbelief, confusion and deep sadness. And you've come forward to show how much you care.
Countless individuals and agencies have contacted us to provide counseling and related services, food for staff, messages of sympathy, and an overwhelming number of fond stories to share in Sherri's memory.
It strikes me now that I've never been hugged so much as I have since joining this wonderful community. And I have been told time and again, "That's how we do it in Lorain." I can't tell you how much your generosity of spirit is appreciated. From all of us in the Lorain City Schools - thank you.
Sincerely,
Dr. Jeff Graham, Superintendent
