Waxed Canvas Messenger Tote Tutorial
Hey y'all! I hope you are enjoying a creative week and have had a chance to checkout the waxed canvas messenger bag tutorial.

The waxed canvas material is like no other material I have ever worked with and I am really excited for you to have the opportunity to experience it.

On my way out of the studio on Saturday, I somehow managed to walk into the hummingbird feeder and hummingbird juice spilled all over my brand new waxed canvas bag. I literally had used it for less than 5 minutes and already spilled something on it. Can you imagine my angst? Well, luckily, because the exterior was coated with the wax, the juice was quick to bead up on the surface and slid off with a mere swipe of the hand!

I selected the waxed canvas in nutmeg for my first bag and will be placing another order soon for the waxed canvas in olive in drab so that I can make a convertible backpack for myself.

Aside from providing an excellent product, I especially love that the folks over at Big Duck Canvas were quick to ship and sent me regular updates on the status of my package.
If you place an order, I would love to see photos of your finished waxed canvas projects and invite you to tag me using @sewspire on Instagram and Facebook.

This week, by request, we will be making a Unicorn Themed Child's Bag with clear vinyl pockets. This particular bag will be a gift for my youngest daughter; but, I am pretty excited about it too! After all, who doesn't love rainbow glitter unicorns?!
