The level of excitement from the students is growing and it was awesome to see the Year 6 students have had a trial run of their stalls today. 

Following is an outline of the key times for the next two days. 

Friday November 6, 2020

  • Take scarecrows to the hall
  • Take baking for the bake sale to Room 15 
  • Bring flowers to make floral displays in class. These will be made between 9-11a.m. Students will complete these independently.
  • Students can wear mufti to school 

Saturday November 7, 2020
By 8.30a.m.
  • Horses need to be onsite
By 9a.m.
  • Take baking competition entries to the supper room in the hall
  • Take small caged animals to Room 13
  • Take cats to Room 14 

  • Judging of animals begins
  • Food Stalls open 
  • Enviro Stall opens

  • Other stalls open including: 
    • Face painting
    • Henna
    • RC Cars
    • Bouncy Castle
    • Mechanical Bull
    • Floral, baking and scarecrow competition rooms open

11a.m. approx:
  • Animal Grand Parade

  • Year 6 stalls open
  • Class crafts stall opens
  • Dog agility course opens
  • Jolly Jar game starts
  • Pony Rides begin

  • Year 6 Cake auction

There will be no eftpos facilities on site and the Wairakei Village Shop will not be giving cash out so have your cash ready.
