GlycoNet announces new training initiatives

In the coming months, GlycoNet will be introducing several initiatives to support GlycoNet highly qualified personnel (HQP).

Research Exchange Program – This program will provide financial assistance to trainees participating in research projects with partners at other academic or government institutions in Canada or abroad.

Industrial Internships – GlycoNet and Mitacs, a national not-for-profit organization, will be working together to provide paid internship opportunities for graduate students and postdoctoral fellows with industrial partners in Canada through the Mitacs Accelerate program.

Summer Awards for Undergraduate Students – These awards will support undergraduate researchers interested in pursuing summer research projects with GlycoNet Network Investigators.

Check the Training tab on the GlycoNet website to keep up to date on these and other opportunities for GlycoNet HQP, and contact Ryan Snitynsky with any questions.
