Become a GlycoNet Trainee Association Executive Committee Member!

Application Deadline: June 10, 2016.
The Canadian Glycomics Network (GlycoNet) is looking for motivated individuals to form an Executive Committee to represent the GlycoNet Trainee Association (GTA) for the 2016 – 2017 academic year. 

The main duties of the GTA Executive Committee are to:
• Provide a trainee perspective to the development of the GlycoNet training program;
• Meet once every two months by teleconference, with one face-to-face meeting in Edmonton during the fall term;
• Assist in Network promotion to the broader community by publishing a trainee newsletter and contributing GlycoNet success stories to various media;
• Organize trainee-related activities at the Banff AGM in May, which may include networking events and the selection of a guest speaker.

If you are a graduate student, post-doctoral fellow, technician, or research associate currently supervised by a GlycoNet Network investigator and are interested in becoming part of the GTA Executive Committee, we invite you to apply for this opportunity.
