Chasing Earhart Panel of Inspiration
We are proud to announce Dreams Soars' involvement in the Chasing Earhart Panel event on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at the Amelia Earhart Festival in Atchison, Kansas. Shaesta will accompany a colorful panel of STEM and aviation professionals as they honor the life and legacy of Amelia Earhart. 

The Chasing Earhart project was created by Chris Williamson who is fascinated with the mysterious disappearance of the world-famous Amelia Earhart. This project brings together many theorists who are also fascinated in this 80-year old puzzle. On Chasing Earhart's website, you will find more details about the project and updates on future podcasts and other articles.

Shaesta Has Something To Say!
We are excited to announce Shaesta's next speaking engagement, at the International Aviation Women's Association's (IAWA) Inaugural General Aviation Women’s Leadership Forum, in Boca Raton on January 25. Shaesta is a Keynote Speaker, along with Air Force Lt. Col (retired) Christine Mau, the first woman to fly the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter jet and the spokeswoman for the Commemorative Air Force “Rise Above” program. General Aviation Brings STEM Programs to the Community
Linda Castner is the co-operator of New Jersey's Alexandria Field (N85). Castner recognizes the shortage of pilots, especially of female pilots, and has decided to take a stand and support her community through a grant program that spawned nearly 20 STEM programs. Over 1,500 students have attended these programs aimed to encourage women and minorities to participate in STEM and aviation.

Auto shop courses will be making their way back into California school systems. Now, compared to 30 years ago, auto shop classes will have more focus on STEM principles than just a vocational skill. In the past, auto shop courses were designed for students who did not intend on attending college. Now, educators are finding ways to benefit students through auto shop with more in depth STEM practices that can be used in and out of university.
