November 5 to 18, 2016
The highlight of this fortnight was the Children’s Day Celebration, wherein the teachers made all the students feel special by putting up an entertaining show for them. They were given roses and treats, and taught about the significance of the day by a teacher who was dressed up as Chacha Nehru.
Students had a great time as they played a variety of games to understand the different Indoor and Outdoor Games. They visited the sports facilities on campus and learnt the importance of rules to play any game. They also learnt that playing games is good for one’s physical and mental development.
Students studied the ‘Water Kingdom’ and were introduced to various sea creatures. The aquarium at school got plenty of attention as students observed the colourful fish. It was interesting for them to see how fish are fed and taken care of. As a sensory experience, an ocean bed was created in the splash pool, which stimulated the imagination of the students.
The Nursery students were thrilled to see fish at the aquarium, during their trip to GVK Mall.
Class photographs were also taken during this fortnight.
Busy Bees of PPIIB showcased ‘Indoor and Outdoor Games’ in the Assembly. They spoke about different games. Some of them even dressed up as famous sports personalities and talked about their lives.
Kitties of Nursery A discussed the ‘Water Kingdom’. They took us under the deep blue sea, where we met students dressed up as different sea creatures.
Melmans of CPPIIA presented the story ‘Gold Coins and the Selfish Man’ to spread the message that ‘Honesty is always rewarded’.
Nemos of CPPIA presented the story ‘Rabbit learns to help’. The story was about a rabbit who had fun troubling others. He soon realizes his mistake when all the animals come to help him when he is in trouble. The students were quick to explain that ‘We must help each other in need’.
The students of PPI and PPII participated in a Flat Race and an Obstacle Race. Students from the Jubilee Hills Campus were also a part of the Competition.
Parents continue to spend quality time in the classrooms as they conduct various activities for the students. We thank the parents who could spare some time to visit our classes and request not to distribute any chocolates to students. Please click here for more details
