Dec 4 EIR Markham "Women in Tech, Girls in STEM"

How do we better support women founders in tech, and how do we encourage more girls to learn about STEM?  This is the theme of the Dec 4 EIR in Markham.

Women in tech face challenges unique from their male counterparts. Similarly, girls face challenges learning about STEM that perhaps boys don't encounter. Come hear stories (including the why, the highs and the lows) from 3 women (including one young one) in STEM and tech - and whether you're male or female, find ways to encourage more women tech leaders and girls in STEM.  Meet the speakers:

EIR is a speaker series where entrepreneurs share their personal journeys, highs, lows and challenges.  Each session features 3-4 entrepreneurs from York Region sharing their personal experiences to inspire and educate others. Stories are shared in 10-15 minute talks, and they are casual, low-key and no-sales (no "learn about my expertise and buy from me!") .

Learn more and RSVP for this EIR here!
