End of Year Greetings
As we begin preparations for Christmas, the Archdiocesan Justice & Peace Commission wishes to thank all subscribers for their support over 2020, a year like no other in living memory. We wish you all many blessings over the coming Christmas period. Our office will close this week and return on 27 January. We look forward to 2021 when the Vatican Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Development launches its Laudato Si’ Action Platform.
Sadly, we say farewell to our Administrative Support Officer for the last 7 years, Ms Percy Pamo Lawrence. Percy has worked in the Archdiocese for 25 years and we will miss her immensely. Thank you for everything, Percy!
In the meantime, we encourage you to use this Advent to reflect on your life and to commit yourself to simple living. Clean Up Australia 2020
The Commission is calling on all parishes, schools and agencies throughout the Archdiocese to get involved in Clean Up Australia Day 2020 on Sunday 7 March. Schools and offices can organise a clean up event during the week leading up to 7 March. Please put this date in your diary for next year. We will start to send out material in the last week of January. In the meantime, please consider what you might do. Check out the Clean Up Australia web site for information and ideas: www.cleanup.org.au/
