JULY NEWS

Over the last month and a half, a lot has been happening in Temple Quarter: major refurbishments, a design team for Temple Quarter Enterprise Camous and lots of exciting events. Scroll down for information about these, and to find out about the latest on the Bristol Arena. We also have a new business profile for you to get stuck into: Realise Design.
Business profile: Realise Design
Realise Design is a product design company with creativity at its heart. Based in Temple Studios, Realise has just celebrated its tenth anniversary. On our blog last month, we caught up with its Managing Director, Andrew Redman, to talk about where the company came from, where it’s going and what makes it so unique. Read the full profile on the Temple Quarter website.
Clean Air for Bristol
Bristol City Council is holding a series of events across the city this summer to speak to citizens, groups and organisations about air quality. This will feed into a clean air plan, which will include ideas and options on how to reduce harmful emissions. The next event will take place at City Hall on Thursday 12 July, and you can register to attend on Eventbrite. You can find out more at cleanairforbristol.org or join in the conversation @BCC_Clean_Air or by using #CleanAirforBristol.
Arena Cabinet update deferred as Mayor asks for clarity on options
An anticipated Cabinet update on Bristol Arena was withdrawn from the council's Cabinet agenda for this month following indications from the arena contractor partner and operators that they have significant new positions during recent public meetings. More information is available on the Bristol City Council website.
