Demolition of derelict sorting office to begin
Demolition of the former Royal Mail sorting office on Cattle Market Road will begin next Wednesday (30 January) – a key milestone in the regeneration of the Temple Quarter district.

Clearance of the site will make way for the development of the brand new University of Bristol Enterprise Campus, as part of the ongoing transformation of this new city quarter.

The building will be demolished in stages using heavy machinery. The whole process is expected to be completed within six months. Follow us @Temple Quarter to see photos and videos as the work progresses.
Share your views on the future of Temple Quarter
The council and its partners are currently working on a long term plan for the future of Temple Quarter and St Philip's Marsh. We are keen to make sure that the views of the local community are taken into account and will be holding a series of focus groups in the coming weeks.

If you're a local resident, you can take part by registering for one of the sessions below (booking essential): We will also be hosting a Business Breakfast at Engine Shed on Tuesday 12 February from 8 - 9:30am. If your business is located in, or near, Temple Quarter, please join the discussion by registering here. Places are limited so sign up soon!

If you are unable to attend but would like to share your views, please look out for our online survey which will open shortly.
