SUMMER NEWS

Happy Friday everyone, it's been a busy summer so far and it doesn't look like that's going to change anytime soon!

We're making plans for our next round of engagement with local community groups around Temple Quarter and St Philip's Marsh this autumn. At these sessions we'll be feeding back on how the input we received from these groups earlier this year is helping to shape long-term plans for the area. Keep an eye on this newsletter and our Twitter account for updates and how you can get involved.
Fresh start at Cattle Market Road
The former Royal Mail sorting office (and known city eyesore) has been dismantled after months of delicate work beside busy railway lines. Pop over to our blog to see the full time lapse video of the work.

The site will handed over to the University of Bristol in the coming months and will eventually be home to their new Temple Quarter Enterprise Campus.

Demolition of this building also paves the way for further interventions by the council and its partners; including the delivery of a new eastern entrance to Temple Meads station.
Nightworks at Temple Gate
The final road layout at Temple Gate is being resurfaced over a period of night works requiring some road closures and restrictions through the area. This work marks a major milestone as the project nears its end and transforms this busy traffic intersection.

The works will take place from 8pm to 6am and daily updates on closures will be posted on @TempleQuarter. All works for this week and next will be undertaken Monday-Friday. More information at www.travelwest.info/templemeads.
