This month we finally said goodbye to the Temple Circus gyratory as the new, simplified road layout was installed. More information on the new layout can be found below or read our 2017 blog post to see how the junction has changed over the last 150 years.
We hope everyone has seen our time lapse of the demolition works at the former sorting office but if you missed it head to our blog to see the difference on site in only a couple of months. Not long now until it's completely clear!
Changes to road layout at Temple Gate
On Tuesday 23 April, we moved to the final road layout at Temple Gate. While there's still a lot of work to do, the junctions are now signal-controlled and the end is in sight for the works finishing this autumn.
Footways and cycle lanes are being constructed and programmed to open later in summer giving more space for pedestrians and cyclists as well as a single stage crossing between Brunel Mile and Temple Meads station.

Last few days to have your say on plans for the University's new campus
The first phase of consultation on the University of Bristol's new Enterprise Campus closes this Wednesday, 1 May.
You can share your feedback through their website on plans for the residential accommodation that will be located in one area of Temple Island. Further proposals for the academic buildings on the former sorting office site will be open for public consultation in July-August.
A big TQ thank you
We are overwhelmed by the number and quality of responses we received to our survey on the future of Temple Quarter - thanks to all who got involved. We're now looking through these responses with the masterplanning team to identify where we can put your ideas into action.
