This workshop offers a fun practical session for children's leaders both musicians and non-musicians. It will cover - teaching little ones scripture through the use of different types and styles of music including fun, noisy action songs to quiet reflective songs and everything in between. It will present different types of song suggestions for various church worship services, all-age services, children's clubs, Early Years schools, Toddler Groups and Sunday School. Lots of ideas to take away to revitalise your children's work.
11:30am - 1pm Dug Horley - Leading Worship with Children
age 7- 11 years

Dug will talk about 'Journeying With Children' to help them to go deeper with God in prayer and worship. He will share some amazing stories of the things he has seen happen as children connect with God. In this fun and inspiring seminar Dug will share his heart for children and his experiences from over 20 years of working with them full-time. In that time  he has travelled widely across the UK, Canada, Africa and many other countries and worked with numerous churches, organisations and conferences including Spring Harvest, Urban Saints and the Luis Palau and Billy Graham Organisations. This is a great opportunity to learn from his experience. This workshop is for all children's workers (musicians and non-musicians) and those with an interest in children's work. It looks at the culture our children are growing up in, the influences they are exposed to, and how we can stay relevant to our children in praise and worship. Packed full of practical ideas that include using pop music, quiet reflective music and sign language which is immensely powerful.
