Summer greetings from Bodhi College

Summer is upon us, and for many we will be out and about, enjoying the light and warmer climate. It's also a time when our lives get busier, as we book in holidays, children are around more and there are more opportunities to socialise.

As schedules fill up, it can be harder to make the time for practice and Dharma study, but keeping this commitment over these busy months is essential.
In today's newsletter, our teachers give their recommendations for summer reading, and Stephen Batchelor shares his thoughts on practicing a secular Dharma. Summer can also be a good time to revisit previous course or retreat materials, and with that in mind, don't forget that our online course this Autumn gives you lifetime access to teaching videos and discussions from four of the core faculty members here at Bodhi College.

So, however your summer shapes up, we hope to continue sharing the Dharma with you in some shape or form.

Best wishes from the team at Bodhi College

Reflections on....
Secular Buddhism

'For practitioners of Secular Dharma, the sole criterion to judge a teaching is whether or not it facilitates your flourishing as an ethical being. Whether or not it is “true” in some way that corresponds to the nature of “reality” is irrelevant.'
