On Urbana! On Urbana!

The Urbana Alumni Association (UAA) supports educational excellence for Urbana schools.  The UAA provides fellowship, community engagement, and fiscal assistance to our schools.

We are pleased to publish our inaugural eNewsletter.  The Urbana Alumni Association is in the process of rebuilding and restructuring.  We have adopted a new mission statement and we have set three ambitious goals: 1. Increasing membership; 2. Class reunion outreach; and 3. Fundraising for specific projects.

We are gearing up for our 2nd Annual UHS Homecoming Celebration on October 9, 2015.  The UAA hosts an "After Party" after the UHS Homecoming Football Game.  This year we will be transforming Lincoln Square Mall into a huge Tigers' Den.  There will be great food, great beverages, raffles, a silent auction, and lots of entertainment.  Please visit our Facebook page for more information!   This year the proceeds from the Homecoming Celebration will go towards the installation of an interactive "Wall of Fame" in the UHS Commons.  The Wall of Fame will celebrate the accomplishments of UHS Alumni and students in all areas of academic, artistic, and athletic greatness.

UAA Membership and Database

During the summer of 2015, UAA had the luxury of having three interns from the Class of 2015 help update and combine the Alumni Databases.  The work is not done!  We need your help.  Please Opt-in using the "Subscribe" button on the bar above then "Share" this eNewsletter with your Urbana Alumni friends.  We have also created a handy and secure form for you to update your complete contact information:  Click here to update your contact information.

Membership dues are only $25/year.  Your membership dues goes to support our mission and goals.  You are supporting UHS and the Alumni Association. Your dues help us be a stronger supporter of current, former, and future students.  Please join!
