Tis the Season to Give and support those in our community less fortunate. Be sure to stop by and drop off a food donation for the Sister Carmen Community Center (located in Lafayette). There is a blue bin at the lodge entrance. Most needed items: fruit (canned & fruit juices), protein (canned chicken, tuna, salmon & dried beans), canned soups & stews, nut butters (peanut, almond, soy, etc.), grains (rice, cereal, oatmeal, pasta). Household products include: shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper, dish & laundry soap, etc. You get the idea. Thank you for making a difference.
Alex Pena was a rock star with his burritos on Friday night! It was a full house (and then some) here at the lodge. People who helped Friday were: Craig, Jim Miller, Chris Hamilton, Martin, Mike Samanski, Betty, Drew, Todd, Themia and Karen. We also had a visit from a candidate for the city manager's position here in Louisville. Needless to say, he was impressed with the sense of community in the lodge and had the privilege of talking with many of you.
On Sunday it was yet another busy morning with breakfast. People who worked were: Todd & Karen Wyant, Brian Beary, Marty Heronema, Mike Symanski & Craig! Favorite selling dish....biscuits & gravy! A sell out every time!
Saved the best thank you for the wonderful team who helped decorate our lodge. Thank you to Beth Vogel, Eric & Laura Brown, Linda Reinhardt, Nancy Varra, Karen Wyant, Marty Heronema, Drew & Craig. The hall looks quite festive....come check it out!
Please note: If there is someone you would like to thank please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. A lot of people do good work & we want to hear about it.
