The Food as Medicine Summit is quickly approaching! This event will bring together regional stakeholders around the critical connections between nutrition, food security, and chronic diseases; the services and interventions that recognize and address these links; and the opportunities for economic development through local procurement. The program features keynote addresses by Jean Terranova, Director of Food and Health Policy at Boston-based non-profit, Community Servings, and Lisa Zullig, Director of Nutrition at NYC-based non-profit, God's Love We Deliver. The morning plenary panel will explore the current Regional Food as Medicine Landscape.

Following lunch, the three concurent afternoon workshops will dig into a range of topics and program models including:

  • Addressing Barriers and Health Disparities 
  • Integrating Food as Medicine Strategies in Healthcare Settings 
  • Geisinger Fresh Food Farmacy

The registration fee is $15, which includes lunch.
