Greetings, love and peace to you, whether you are feeling content or frustrated, hopeful or downcast, faithful or fearful as we finish this sixth week of confinement. On Sunday morning we will join with two of the disciples on the road to Emmaus. We can be confident that Jesus walks alongside each one of us at this time as he walked with them, opened their hearts, explained the Scriptures, and broke bread with them: ‘Were not our hearts burning within us while he was talking to us on the road, while he was opening the scriptures to us?’ Luke 24:32

It would be great if as many people as possible could start watching our video service together at 10.30am, and join us for a Zoom tea/coffee afterwards (see details below).
Videos below will only be available from 9h00 on Sunday.

Sunday's service of Holy Communion:
For children:
Some songs to accompany this week's service:
Some reflective organ music recorded by Joan:
Join us by Zoom for tea/coffee or apéritif after our Service on Sunday (around 11.30am)!
We will also be holding a Bible study via Zoom next Wednesday evening from 8.15pm.
Stay in Touch!
Please click here from your phone to follow the link directly to the church's WhatsApp group which we invite our whole church family to join for extra support (and a few giggles) at this unusual time. We also encourage you to set up other WhatsApp, Facebook, text, email or other contact groups within your area to share, support & encourage one another.
Please send us an email if you know of someone in need of practical help or an encouraging phone call, and if you are not in a position to help - we can and we will! We have a team of people who can deliver shopping or phone for support. Please check in with elderly and vulnerable neighbours in particular. You can call, text or whatsapp us on 07 67 07 77 20.
The town hall in Maisons-Laffitte has just begun taking orders for free cloth face masks for Maisons-Laffitte residents. Click here for the press release on the town website and the link for ordering (pick up by one household member as from 29th April by appointment).
Masks are also available via "Entraide Maisons-Laffitte & Mesnil-le-Roi"
Financial Giving
If you aren't already a member of our church's Planned Giving Scheme, in the absence of physical church services, if you would like to make a financial offering* to Holy Trinity Church, you can either:
- post a cheque or set up a one-off/monthly bank transfer to the church (free) - email us for more details
- use our new HelloAsso online giving page (adds on a minimum €1 donation to HelloAsso)
* tax receipts for French tax-payers are provided in both cases. We are very grateful for any donations at this time, as we know that we are all financially impacted by the coronavirus crisis.
