"For the Lamb at the centre of the throne will be their shepherd; he will lead them to springs of living water. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes." Revelation 7:17

In this Sunday's virtual All Saint's service, Rev'd Charlotte will be talking to us about how we, and all the saints, can play our part in bringing a slice of heaven to those around us.

Sunday's Virtual Family Service of Morning Worship (video available from 9h00)

It would be great if as many people as possible could start watching our video service together at 10.30am, and join us via Zoom for tea/coffee around 11.15am:
We will be back to virtual services for the next month or so and would love photos of your virtual Worship at Home. Whether in your Sunday best, or still in your pyjamas, in your garden, living room or still in bed, with pets, children, coffee or tea, please send us a snapshot of what your "Worship at Home" looks like so we can add to our photo collage (if you prefer, we can crop out or blur faces, just let us know!).
Many are concerned about the huge waste created by using non washable surgical masks. An article in Que Choisir explains they can be safely used up to 30 times if stored for 7 days (less if kept on a radiator or other warm place) in between each wearing, which is time enough to destroy 99.5% of the virus. Click here to find out more (article in French).
Holy Trinity's next church Council Meeting will take place at 8pm via Zoom on Monday 2nd November. The link has been sent by email to all Council Members.
We will be holding a Men's breakfast on Saturday 21st November and a Women's Breakfast on Saturday 28th November, both at 9h00 via Zoom. Breakfast will be followed by a short talk. The links will be available closer to the time, but please do mark the dates in your diary!

Don't forget you can send us an email if you know of someone in need of practical help or an encouraging phone call, and if you are not in a position to help - we can and we will! We have a team of people who can deliver shopping or phone for support. Please check in with elderly and vulnerable church family and neighbours in particular. You can call, text or WhatsApp us on 07 67 07 77 20.
Stay in Touch!
Please click here from your phone to follow the link directly to the church's WhatsApp group which we invite our whole church family to join for extra support (and a few giggles) in these unusual times. We also encourage you to set up other WhatsApp, Facebook, text, email or other contact groups within your area to share, support & encourage one another.
For anyone looking for how to help with the Covid-19 crisis, this video explains ways in which the Anglican Church across the world is working with local communities in need, and provides details of where to make donations.  The video introduces the “Together in Unity” appeal from Archbishop Justin Welby featuring images of the impact of COVID-19 across the Anglicans Communion and the testimonies of two Anglican primates.
Holy Trinity's Charitable Giving Committee supports the La Pierre Blanche association in Conflans St Honorine which runs the Je Sers barge working with refugees and homeless people, who have an ongoing need for second hand kitchen units and/or électroménager. If you or someone you know has anything suitable, please contact Fiona Dabas.
Financial Giving
If you aren't already a member of our church's Planned Giving Scheme, in the absence of physical church services, if you would like to make a financial gift to Holy Trinity Church, you can either post a cheque or set up a one-off/monthly bank transfer to the church or use our HelloAsso online giving page.
* tax receipts for French tax-payers are provided in both cases. We are very grateful for any donations at this time, as we know that we are all financially impacted by the coronavirus crisis.
