Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed. Simon and his companions went to look for him, and when they found him, they exclaimed: “Everyone is looking for you!”. Jesus replied, “Let us go somewhere else—to the nearby villages—so I can preach there also. That is why I have come.” Mark 1:35-38

A book For Lent - Living His Story
In Living His Story, the Archbishop of Canterbury’s Lent Book 2021, Hannah Steele uncovers liberating and practical ways of sharing the gospel story afresh. With warmth and encouragement, She shows us how we can live Jesus’ story in our own lives simply by being the people God made us and allowing people to be drawn to him through our natural gifts. The book is widely available and there is also an e-reader format. If you would like a copy and you have any difficulty obtaining one, (for whatever reason) please get in touch with Charlotte. The Church of England has produced a study guide to go alongside this book which is free to download from the Church of England website.
We will be following the book and the study guide in our Bible study groups, starting on Tuesday 16th February (10:30am) and Wednesday 17th February (8pm) - everyone is very welcome to join.
