"After six days Jesus took Peter, James and John with him and led them up a high mountain, where they were all alone. There he was transfigured before them. His clothes became dazzling white, whiter than anyone in the world could bleach them. And there appeared before them Elijah and Moses, who were talking with Jesus. Then a cloud appeared and covered them, and a voice came from the cloud: “This is my Son, whom I love. Listen to him!” Mark 9: 2-4, 7

A book for Lent - Living His Story
In Living His Story, the Archbishop of Canterbury’s Lent Book 2021, Hannah Steele uncovers liberating and practical ways of sharing the gospel story afresh. With warmth and encouragement, she shows us how we can live Jesus’ story in our own lives simply by being the people God made us and allowing people to be drawn to him through our natural gifts. The book is widely available and there is also an e-reader format. If you would like a copy and have any difficulty obtaining one, (for whatever reason) please get in touch with Charlotte. The Church of England has produced a study guide to go alongside this book which is free to download from the Church of England website.
We will be following the book and the study guide in our Bible study groups, starting this Tuesday 16th February (10:30am) and Wednesday 17th February (8pm) - everyone is very welcome to join.
