Everyone is invited to our Harvest Bring & Share Lunch, a family-friendly time of fellowship & thanksgiving, on Sunday 13th October, at 12h30. Please do sign up so we have an idea of numbers, and please bring a savoury dish and/or salad to share and some toiletries or non-perishable food items for our local food banks (see below).

2. Bring some food to share:

- savoury food (eg. quiche, cake salé, cheese, ham etc.) AND/OR
- a salad (eg. pasta, rice, potato, vegetable, taboulé salad etc.)
- plus a dessert if possible

3. Food Bank donations:
- bring toiletries & non-perishable food (no rice or pasta please!) for local food banks.
4. Centenary Appeal:
- there will be a basket passed round for any donations to our Centenary Appeal.
SOS Help are having a Book Sale this Sunday 29th September from 12pm to 4pm (at the American Cathedral, 23 ave George V, 75008 Paris).  All proceeds to SOS Help!  More information on SOS help Paris
Join us in the church hall on Saturday 16th November to help us mix-up the Christmas puddings and mincemeat (for mince pies) to sell at the Christmas Fête! Just bring a sharp knife and an apron, all other ingredients provided! All welcome!
- From 9.30am: Pudding making
- From 1.30pm: Mincemeat making
The Atalante Cinema in Maisons-Laffitte are having two special showings of the film "Le Sacrement de la Tendresse", about the life and work of Jean Vanier, founder of the world-renowned charity, L'Arche.
  • Monday 7 October at 8.30pm
  • Tuesday 8 October at 2pm
Both showings will be followed by a discussion (in French) with members of the "Foi et Lumière" association in Maisons-Laffitte. Click here for more details.
On Sunday 6th October from 9am to 4.30pm, there will be a special ecumenical and environmental-themed conference held at the Centres Saint Pierre et Paul (behind the St Nicolas Church in Maisons-Laffitte), "Engagés dans les Transformations".
Everyone is invited to come along to this free event, just turn up and bring a packed lunch!

RSCM Singing Day
Last chance to sign up for the RSCM (Royal School of Church Music) Singing Day at the American Cathedral on Saturday 12th October (from 9h30 to 17h30), even if this is not your usual style of worship. This wonderful workshop is led by Christopher Gray, Director of Music at Truro Cathedral.
