“His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’" Matthew 25:23

This Sunday in our virtual service we will reflect on the many gifts God has given each one of us, and how we can best use them to serve Him and others.

Sunday's Virtual Service (video available from 9h00)

It would be great if as many people as possible could start watching our video service together at 10.30am, and join us via Zoom for tea/coffee around 11.15am:
Last chance to order your Odil Moret Christmas Champagne, blanc/white (brut) or pink/rosé - 19€ per bottle, 115€ for 6 bottles, or 215€ for 12 bottles. Click here to contact David Bean directly to order by Monday 16th November. All proceeds go directly towards the various charities we support.
As you know, there will be no Christmas Fête at Holy Trinity this year due to Covid-19 restrictions, but to spread a little Christmas Cheer and raise money for the charities we support we are planning to sell Christmas Cheer boxes full of all the goodies you usually purchase at the Fair itself (including Christmas pudding, mince pies, marmalade, cake etc.). The exact contents will be a delightful surprise for you and your family and the boxes would be an ideal Christmas gift too! Different sizes available: Small 30€, Medium 50€ and Large 70€. Before going ahead with this idea we need to know how many people would be interested in buying one, and which size. These boxes are intended to bring some Christmas cheer despite the world of lockdown that we are living in, and also represent your generosity towards worthy charitable causes.
Please click here to let us know if you might be interested.
(The final "order form" will be available from next week)
Join us at our Zoom Virtual Christmas Family Fun Quiz Night on Saturday 5th December at 18h00 to which everyone is warmly invited. We hope to have a special guest hosting the evening from his new home in Wales! Save the date in your diaries, and watch this space for more details!
We will be holding a Men's breakfast on Saturday 21st November and a Women's Breakfast on Saturday 28th November, both at 9h15 via Zoom. Breakfast will be followed by a short talk. The links will be available soon, but please do mark the dates in your diary! Bonus points for the most original breakfast!
Come and enjoy a pre-Christmas, festive aperitif with Holy Trinity friends, present and past, on Saturday 19th December from 18h00 to 19h30. A great opportunity to catch up with many friends in groups of 3-4 on a very special festive Zoom session (the groups will change every 15 minutes or so). Current members of our community and those of you who have moved away are warmly invited, including past chaplains! This will be a truly unmissable opportunity for much needed seasonal cheer at this strange and challenging time! More details to follow soon. Save the date in your diary now!
Don't forget you can send us an email if you know of someone in need of practical help or an encouraging phone call, and if you are not in a position to help - we can and we will! We have a team of people who can deliver shopping or phone for support. Please check in with elderly and vulnerable church family and neighbours in particular. You can call, text or WhatsApp us on 07 67 07 77 20.
Stay in Touch!
Please click here from your phone to follow the link directly to the church's WhatsApp group which we invite our whole church family to join for extra support (and a few giggles) in these unusual times. We also encourage you to set up other WhatsApp, Facebook, text, email or other contact groups within your area to share, support & encourage one another.
Holy Trinity's Charitable Giving Committee supports the La Pierre Blanche association in Conflans St Honorine which runs the Je Sers barge working with refugees and homeless people, who have an ongoing need for second hand kitchen units and/or électroménager. If you or someone you know has anything suitable, please contact Fiona Dabas.
If you aren't already a member of our church's Planned Giving Scheme, in the absence of physical church services, if you would like to make a financial gift to Holy Trinity Church, you can either post a cheque or set up a one-off/monthly bank transfer to the church or use our HelloAsso online giving page. Thank you for your support!
