"My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends." John 15:12-13

This Remembrance Sunday in our virtual service we will reflect on the great sacrifice of so many people throughout the years, and the ultimate sacrifice of Jesus on the cross for each one of us.

Sunday's Virtual Remembrance Service (video available from 9h00)

It would be great if as many people as possible could start watching our video service together at 10.30am, and join us via Zoom for tea/coffee around 11.15am:
Don't forget to send us a photo of your virtual Worship at Home. Whether in your Sunday best, or still in your pyjamas, in your garden, living room or still in bed, with pets, children, coffee or tea, please send us a snapshot of what your "Worship at Home" looks like which we can add to our church family photo album.
We will be holding a Men's breakfast on Saturday 21st November and a Women's Breakfast on Saturday 28th November, both at 9h15 via Zoom. Breakfast will be followed by a short talk. The links will be available closer to the time, but please do mark the dates in your diary!
Come and enjoy a pre-Christmas, festive aperitif with Holy Trinity friends, present and past on Sunday 19th December from 18h00 to 19h30. A great opportunity to catch up with many friends in groups of 3-4 on a very special festive Zoom session (the groups will change every 15 minutes or so). Current members of our community and those of you who have moved away are warmly invited, including past chaplains! This will be a truly unmissable opportunity for much needed seasonal cheer at this strange and challenging time! More details to follow soon.
We will be holding a Virtual Pub Quiz on Saturday 5th December at 18h00 to which everyone is warmly invited (all ages are allowed to participate). We will have a special guest hosting the evening from his new home in Wales! Save the date in your diaries, and watch this space for more details!
Don't forget you can send us an email if you know of someone in need of practical help or an encouraging phone call, and if you are not in a position to help - we can and we will! We have a team of people who can deliver shopping or phone for support. Please check in with elderly and vulnerable church family and neighbours in particular. You can call, text or WhatsApp us on 07 67 07 77 20.
Stay in Touch!
Please click here from your phone to follow the link directly to the church's WhatsApp group which we invite our whole church family to join for extra support (and a few giggles) in these unusual times. We also encourage you to set up other WhatsApp, Facebook, text, email or other contact groups within your area to share, support & encourage one another.
Holy Trinity's Charitable Giving Committee supports the La Pierre Blanche association in Conflans St Honorine which runs the Je Sers barge working with refugees and homeless people, who have an ongoing need for second hand kitchen units and/or électroménager. If you or someone you know has anything suitable, please contact Fiona Dabas.
If you aren't already a member of our church's Planned Giving Scheme, in the absence of physical church services, if you would like to make a financial gift to Holy Trinity Church, you can either post a cheque or set up a one-off/monthly bank transfer to the church or use our HelloAsso online giving page. Thank you for your support!
