Great news about what YOU make possible!

First, an update from Millie's Mom. In case you've forgotten, in March of last year you saved Millie (her Mom's very first dog) by enabling her to receive her initial treatment after an oral melanoma (cancer!) was discovered. It hadn't spread so time was of the essence, but all that was needed was going to be too expensive for her family.

Thanks to you, two months ago Millie was there to be a cherished part of her parents' wedding!

Want to meet Millie and her parents? She'll be modeling an amazing Howl-O-Ween costume at Dogs On The Catwalk. BTW, she's the adorable black dog.

Introducing Lila! Her story is so new it hasn't even been published. She was initially surrendered by her elderly Dad who couldn't afford the needed veterinary care. Getting that taken care of turned out to be only the beginning! In weeks to come you'll hear about her rescue by good Samaritans, harrowing surgery to rebuild her bladder, and a prolonged stay in the ICU.

Or, you can scoop the story and see for yourself how you saved this precious life and impacted TWO families by coming to meet her at Dogs On The Catwalk!

Want to meet these two cuties and several more? Get your tickets now for Dogs On The Catwalk, October 1, 11:30-2:00. All models will be dogs whose lives you have saved, or who are in the families of people who have helped to save them.

Be sure to send us photos of your own pets in costume to be part of our video fashion show that will be shown during lunch and featured on social media and our website!

Colonel (Ret) Cassie Barlow, Speaker

“The Impact of our Four-legged Friends”

We are honored to welcome Colonel (Ret) Cassie Barlow, current President of SOCHE and past Base Commander at Wright Patt, to inspire us at lunch with stories of how our four-legged friends help us in our lives.

Cassie writes: "Having dealt with several pets with serious medical issues, I believe that Ellie's Rainy Day Fund is an incredible resource for people who are financially struggling to manage the expenses in their household and to take care of a very sick pet. The treatment that Ellie's Rainy Day Fund facilitates allows a family to be able to spend more quality time with their pet instead of having to contemplate end of life decisions for their pet who is a member of their family."

Emily Gibbs, Emcee

We are thrilled to have Emily Gibbs, co-host of WDTN's Living Dayton, sharing her love of animals as she hosts our event!

Emily writes: "I am so honored to be a part of Dogs on the Catwalk. I love the mission behind Ellie's Rainy Day Fund. Animals are there for us through tough times and now we can be there for them in their tough times. No one should have to lose an animal because of lack of resources."
