Meeko's Love Story

The people who support Ellie's Rainy Day Fund kept us from wondering how we would go on without Meeko. He means the world to us, and now so do you for keeping our baby boy with us. We will be forever grateful.
Meeko's Mom

I've been described as a "lifesaver" and as the giver of happiness and love. I try! They also say I'm the "cuddliest cat ever." Guilty as charged. Anyone who says cats are aloof hasn't met me!

It got lots harder to maintain my charming personality, though, after I started having trouble. Every time I got ill it was a matter of life or death.

This is the rest of my story.

It's that time of year. The time that you may be faced with this dilemma! You park at the grocery store to run in for some milk. You happen to look in the car next to you and you see a dog inside. It's 80 degrees outside. The windows may or may not be cracked. The car may or may not be in the shade. The dog may or may not look in distress. What do you do?

What a wonderful Pet Appreciation Week we had earlier this month! We met a record number of new supporters at the #Dayton Pride Festival; enjoyed delicious ice cream/pup cups at the Ice Cream Social put on by Veterinary Alternatives; and spent a perfect evening of good food and great fellowship during Paws On The Patio at El Meson.

THANK YOU to Dr. Julie Servaites and to Bill Castro for your generosity in giving us great ways to hang out with our dogs. THANKS TO ALL OF YOU for attending and raising the money that will save more cats and dogs lives!
