Recommendations on adding a regional dimension
to the European Space Strategy
Being closest to the citizens, regions are a crucial point of reference for connecting space with society, businesses and public policies. This is why NEREUS has recently published a position paper, with some recommendations on adding a regional dimension to the upcoming European Space Strategy, for an optimal exploitation of Europe's space infrastructure.

This relies on a mix of actions at different levels: improvements should be sought not only in terms of general vision and public understanding of the tangible benefits of space, but also by stimulating a smarter interplay of space with relevant policy objectives, setting up strategic partnerships and stipulating a reliable and rapid data access at all levels of society
