Beat the holiday break boredom with games, crafts, and fun!  All ages are welcome to enjoy retro video games and a variety of board and card games, relax with adult coloring pages, create a fandom button with our button maker, and more at this open house-style event!

NaNoWriMo participants of all ages are invited to celebrate the end of a hectic month of novel writing! Grab a snack, share your NaNoWriMo trials and triumphs with fellow writers, and learn what you can do with your novel now.

Where: Anderson Public Library at Delaware Room

Stop by for an evening of video and tabletop gaming. We'll have party games like Super Smash Brothers, Mario Kart, and Rocket League for the Wii and PS4, as well as classics like Apples to Apples, Jenga, and Uno. Teen programs are for those in grades 6-12 only, please.

Game Night for Grownups: Players' Choice

When: Monday, December 11, 2017 - 5:00 PM - 7:45 PM
Where: Anderson Public Library at Cardinal Room

A monthly gaming group at the library for adults only! We meet on the second Monday each month. This month, bring your favorite game(s) with you and we’ll vote on what to play. (Be sure to bring games that you’d be willing to teach!) We'll choose from all games available (including a few games from the library's collection as well). Beginners welcome!

Light snacks and refreshments will be provided.


The Last Jedi

My Story Project Open House

Teen Book Committee Meeting

When: Saturday, December 16, 2017 - 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM
Where: Anderson Public Library at Carnegie Room

Teen Library Committee members help plan teen library events and Teen Room displays. The Book Committee focuses on book clubs, author events, and Summer Reading.

Teen Library Committee meetings are open to all teens in grades 6-12. New members are always welcome! For more information, email teen@andersonlibrary.net or call 641-2456 and ask for the Teen Librarian.
