Back to Basics - Spring Forward

By Tirza at Better Breast Health – for Life!™
This month’s newsletter is more personal in nature, recapping an “identity crisis.” Perfect timing, I guess, given that it is Springtime – a time of rebirth.
Business Evolution
For the past year, I have solicited your interest in franchising. However, after months of contemplation and recent discussion with consultants, franchising is financially infeasible. This conclusion came just a week after Vanesa (part-time administrator) gave notice to return to teaching school children.
Letting go of expansion, I hired Leslie Cary as a full-time Office Manager (in training) and recommit to our mission to empower clients towards increasing levels of health via Risk Assessing Thermal Imaging (still just $195 for breast imaging and reporting) and preventive education.
Personal Watershed
For 50 years, I have been an overachiever, striving to be and do better. It stems from childhood abandonment, as my mother left when I was two years old, triggering the subconscious belief that I wasn’t good enough and that’s why she left.
However, company events triggered a watershed whereby I am settling into the notion that I, like the company, are “good enough.” Hence, I am releasing unrealistic expectations of myself and no longer working seven days a week. With Leslie on full-time, I can take Sundays/time off and we can be more fully present with each client, publishing risk factor management articles and newsletters as time permits.
Bottom Line
Rather than expanding the company, I look forward to extending our reputation for high quality care and personal empowerment. Please count on me, Leslie and Dr. Robert Kane to provide you the personalized attention and informative details that you have come to expect since 2002.
Until Next Time, All the Best.
