Hi <<First Name>>

When is it too hot to knit? We've had a heat wave here that has pushed the temperatures to 100 degrees - but I'm still knitting! Admittedly I've put the afghan aside in favor of smaller projects with cotton yarn like some of the patterns in this newsletter!

Speaking of summer (and I know it's winter for some of you!), if you're traveling you might want to stick an extra ball of yarn and pair of needles in your travel projects. LA Bourgeois tells you why in Knitting on the Road: How to Teach Loved Ones to Knit. I'm definitely going to do this when I visit family this month.

Have a great week!
Terry Matz
