Connecting to our neighbors, God, and the land, using sustainable agriculture to meet local hunger needs

Garden Lessons

A garden is a grand teacher.
It teaches patience and careful watchfulness; it teaches industry and thrift;
Above all it teaches entire trust

Last week we harvested over 80 pounds from the garden already! It was largely made up of onions, spinach and Chinese cabbage.  We loaded it up on Gene's truck and took it to Tri Area Ministry. We are so fortunate to have distribution partners close by so that within hours of our picking we can place it in cold storage and within days it goes to area homes.

There are many areas of trust in gardening.  You are a part of this trust each time you come out and help.  Thank you!
