Bee Grateful

We want to thank Brad and Gene their work in splitting the bee hive at the garden so that now there are two hives.  Bees are so important in garden production.  We really appreciate the work the bees and our bee keepers do.

Speaking of that, we harvested150 pounds last week that went to Tri Area Ministry.   We will be in the garden this Saturday morning and would love to see you.

This Saturday

We will continue harvest at the garden this week but the primary activities will include weeding and mulching. Not sure why but our squash, cucumbers and zucchini are very slow in germinating and growing. We will replant and fertilize those that have emerged. We will plant additional okra and thin the okra that has germinated. An important task will be to fertilize our developing tomato crop.
