Happy Thanksgiving

Hi Folks.

This past Saturday,
We tilled up an area for herbs and planted some herb perennials.
We cleaned out vines for next year
We thinned carrots.  They look promising.
We harvested baskets of mixed greens that went to Tri Area Ministry
We also planted some beautiful cabbage plants donated to the garden

It was this mixture of finishing up and preparing for a future day.    We can be thankful for both can't we?

Most of all we are thankful for our volunteers.  Whether you came once or many times, you contributed to this garden and your neighborhood. Thank you.  Together we raised over 6,000 pounds of fresh food to share.

We are done for this year.  Wishing you a Happy Thanksgiving.  See you in the spring!
