We love an affordable party as much as the next group of Moose. Hope you guys had fun in Austin! Photo credit: Tatiana Taylor.

Good morning to you.

We hope you all have recovered from the disappointment of not getting your Dîner en Blanc tickets which created a waitlist approximately 120 seconds after going on sale. Nothing to soften the blow of missing out on all those gram-worthy pics like a little Wednesday full of make-up classes.

In light of these #bschoolproblems, we are here to remind you of all the great things to look forward to this spring (like architecture tours, margaritas, baseball games, FINALLY putting away your coats, and taking your last final of the quarter) before we all depart for gainful employment or the summer internship hustle. Only 2 more days until another weekend in Heavenston.

A little bit of this, a little bit of that

We are gonna see a mix of sun and clouds today, but no rain in sight. Remember how gorgeous it was yesterday and use that to sustain you this morning. We will see a high of 62°F (17°C) and will manage to stay relatively warm with a low of only 55°F (13°C).

Get it right, get it tight

  • Can't stop, won't stop. If you would never let a little thing like impending employment stop your travel hustle, join our classmates as they discuss and plan the first ever Taiwan Trek! The trip will take place this July and lunch will be served during the session (12:15 p.m., 1130).
  • I scream, you scream. Break up that midday slump with some ice cream, courtesy of The Farley Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (which serves all NU students and teaches experiential entrepreneurship courses to many Kellogg students). Register here to meet fellow innovators and entrepreneurs from across campus (12-2 p.m., Ford Motor Company Engineering Design Center).
  • The happiest of hours. We love looking really fancy during a dinner party and the best way to do that is to actually know something about what you're drinking. Join an evening hosted by Cork & Screw where wine gurus from Vinic will take us around a local grocery store's wine section and share tips and tricks for picking wine. The night ends with wine and snacks at the shop (5:30 p.m., Vinic Wine Shop).

Out with the old

You may be trying to de-clutter your life in advance of a move post-Kellogg or just be in the mood for some spring cleaning this May, but either way, we feel you.

Nothing like some nice weather to make you want to get your life in order and we are here to give you some tips for doing just that.

The best way to make sure clothes don't end up in landfills or unwanted spaces is to donate them.

You can utilize our local Goodwill just down Dempster street or if you are trying to make a little coin outside of your tax deduction, try to use a company like thredUP. Some of us have suffered through the judgmental looks of the all-powerful Buffalo Exchange attendant, but fear not. With thredUP you just order a free kit including a postmarked bag, they will try to sell what they can and recycle everything else.

Finally, if you just want your space to feel more zen and somehow missed the Kondo fever sweeping the nation a few years ago, you can always check out The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up or get the Sparknotes version here. If you really want to commit to a deep spring clean let the OG Martha Stewart's printable checklist be your guide. Happy cleaning!

If you want to learn moves like your favorite professors be sure to buy a ticket to Groupwerk Spotlight!

Groupwerk Spotlight

If you haven't yet picked up your ticket to Groupwerk's annual showcase, don't wait a second longer. This year, Groupwerk presents Spotlight on May 22nd at 8:30pm. Tickets are still available and your wet ticket includes one hour of open bar in addition to an hour of nonstop dance entertainment. Clearly, our professors are so excited about the show, they had to get up and dance in the video above. See you there!

We still want you!

We are extending the Daybreak applications through this weekend so be sure to get your application in by Sunday at midnight!
