Hidden Eczema triggers to avoid at Christmas

Even though Christmas can be magical it also comes with its own seasonal risks for triggering an eczema flare up. Christmas trees, skipping your moisturising routine and winter weather can threaten to make life miserable for people with eczema.

HS (Hidradenitis Suppurativa) Community Meeting

The Irish Skin Foundation is pleased to announce a first ever HS Community Meeting for people with the condition, their families and supporters. 

The meeting will be held in O’Callaghan’s Alexander Hotel, Fenian Street, Dublin 2 on Saturday 30 January 2016 from 10:30 to 13:00. Book a place by visiting the event page and signing up.

ISF Dermatology Study Day for Nurses and Pharmacists

The ISF is delighted to announce the first annual Dermatology Professional Study Day for hospital, community-based and public health nurses, pharmacists and other involved in providing skin care.

The Dermatology Professional Study Day will take place on Saturday 16 April 2016 in the Ashling Hotel, Parkgate St, Dublin 8.

There are a number of ways you can join the ISF and support our work

  • Register with us to keep up to date on events – if we know who you are, we can contact you with news and information

  • Organise an event, participate in a challenge and fundraise to support our work.

  • Share your life story – these stories will allow us to put people with similar problems in touch with one another and will encourage others to come forward.

  • Start a Support and Activity Group – The Irish Skin Foundation is encouraging people with all types of skin condition to form, get involved in or to join a Support and Activity group - wherever you are in the country. 

  • Volunteer your time – contact

    Whatever way you would like to get involved with us please get in touch, we would love to hear from you.
