Sunday Worship
10:00am

Our Scripture for this Sunday (1 John 4:16 - 21) provides a simple yet profound definition of the Divine in our life: God is love. As humans, we love one another, because God first loved us. And when we choose to abide in God's love, all fear is cast out. How different might our world be if we let love be our guide, rather than fear? In worship, we'll practice our two sacraments, baptism and communion, as an embodiment of God's love in our midst. Pastor Dana preaching.

The Sanctuary Choir will sing the gorgeous Ubi Caritas by French composer Maurice Duruflé, and Carole-Georgine West will play a postlude based on the Old Hundredth hymn tune by Canadian composer Healey Willan.
Faith Forum
8:45am in the library

We'll discuss pg 164-165 (refrigeration) from the book Drawdown. According to the book, this is the #1 climate problem. We will also reflect on pg 190-191 of Laudato Si', by Pope Francis. Led by Tim Smith and Bill Schroeder. Child care available. Haven't read it? Come, listen, and be warmed by community. More here.
Annual Musical Showcase
2:30 in the Sanctuary

The church's extensive musical talent pool will be on display, with featured performers of many ages and musical persuasions.  Several of the church's choirs will participate for the first time!  A reception will follow. Questions? Contact Ron Dann at 978-470-2797 or 978-886-0884.

4 Week Ecclesiastes Bible Study
Sun., Nov. 10th at 8:45am in the library

Faith Forum will study Ecclesiastes, by Molly Baskette, a UCC pastor and author. Ecclesiastes is a short book, considered curmudgeonly and cynical, telling it like it is, pain and overwork, fear, and reminds us of the joys found in the simple life, friends, sunlight, and the good things that come from God. Details here.
