Issue No. 47
Our hugely successful Beer and Carols at Oak and Iron Brewery is back for 2018! This year we've partnered with First UMC in North Andover to help support their Christmas Pop-Up Shop, which will be selling heavily subsidized toys for families with tight finances this year. We're opening ticket sales (only $5) for the next week and a half to our churches before the general public. Get yours today!

Worship Service
10:30am

This Sunday's scripture reading is a familiar one. In fact, we say it every time we worship: It's the Lord's Prayer. I wish we had time to walk through the entire prayer, but we'll be focusing in on "forgiveness" as we continue our series on the Pillars of Joy. We'll explore what forgiveness can mean in our lives - forgive others and ourselves. As always, we'll sing, pray and be church together. Pastor Alex preaching. See you in church! Childcare available.

Music -The Pickers are playing!  Come and hear inspiring music by Glen Campbell, Kate Wolf, Bob Franke. Next Sunday, Dec 2, all are welcome to join the Pick-up Choir at 9:15 to sing "Come, Emmanuel, Come" by Jay Rouse, a beautiful setting of familiar text to the classic folk tune Scarborough Fair.

Hanging of the Greens

Come join the Flower committee after  worship service  this Sunday  and  help decorate our church for the  Advent/Christmas season. Meet in the Sanctuary after you have refreshments at Fellowship Hour.

Looking for Cookie Bakers!
By Friday, December 7th

The Board of Women's Ministries' cookie fundraiser is on Sunday, December 9th during the Advent Brunch. Would you consider baking festive cookies for our fundraiser? Funds raised go towards a donation to a charity that aids women and provides Women's Retreat scholarships for women of our church. We ask you to drop off 2-3 dozen cookies (or more) in the kitchen in a closed container, marked "BOWM", by Friday, December 7th. Due to moisture issues, we ask for cookies rather than cupcakes or brownies. Baking in advance and freezing cookie works if early December is too busy. Also - store bought cookies OR bags of festively wrapped chocolate kisses are appreciated! Email Diane Morris if interested. Thank you!
Help with the 2018 Senior Tea!
Saturday, December 8th from 1-3pm

The revival of the Senior Tea was a huge success last year, so we'd like to try it again! This year it will be on Saturday, December 8th from 1-3pm. We'll need many hands to help make it happen. Please jump on over to the Sign Up Genius to see how you can volunteer to help. Any questions? Reach out to Pastor Alex.
