ADEMU Perspectives #1: A broad view on narrow banking
ADEMU Perspectives is our new monthly series of articles, authored by senior ADEMU economists, which provide expert insight into economics issues affecting the EU. Our first author is Hugo Rodríguez Mendizábal, tenured scientist at the Institute for Economic Analysis (IAE-CSIC) and director of the Barcelona GSE master program in Macroeconomic Policy and Financial Markets.
Here, Professor Rodriguez examines the controversial practice of narrow banking.

A comprehensive series of ADEMU conferences, lectures and workshops has been announced for 2017, with guests including Timothy Kehoe, Fabrizio Zilibotti and Edward Prescott. Fiscal federalism within the EMU: event summary, with slides and papers

On 12 December 2016, the European University Institute (EUI) in Florence hosted an ADEMU mini-conference on the topic of Fiscal Federalism for the EMU, which included a lecture by Professor Jonathan Rodden from Stanford University. University of Cambridge ADEMU lecture series

The University of Cambridge has released a series of eight videos featuring ADEMU lectures delivered at the university in spring 2016. The videos – which are each approximately one hour in length – feature topics including monetary union, monetary policy and fiscal sustainability. Read more
