USA Cycling and NEHSCA team up!

With over 750 racers one of the fastest growing segments of cycling in New England has been the New England High School Cycling League. With a 6 race series and teams in Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and New Hampshire the league is an incredible program for young cyclists in New England.

As part of USA Cycling's expanded Youth and Collegiate Development program this year every junior racer on a NEHSCA associated team will be eligible for a free USA Cycling racing license, and each NEHSCA team is eligible for a complimentary club license. For more information on NEHSCA you can visit their website at or email

NEBRA goes off-road

For 2020 NEBRA is excited to expand our role in USA Cycling events to include mountain bike! From the new partnership with NEHSCA to the return of USA Cycling sanctioned Downhill racing NEBRA is excited to work with the off-road scene in New England. Look for more events announcements on our calendar  and in these newsletters as the season progresses.

Officials Needed

New England's wide variety of cycling events are almost always have a need for Officials to help provide a safe fair and fun racing experience. If you have ever wondered about becoming an Official and getting involved with events in New England we have an upcoming New Officials Clinic in Danbury Connecticut on March 16th. There is also a new Motorcycle Officials clinic on the 17th!

Both clinics are part of the second annual Northeast Officials Symposium a weekend long event for current and aspiring USA Cycling Officials in the Northeast. The Symposium features local regional and national Officials and the 2020 Keynote Speaker is Randy Shafer, USA Cycling's Technical Director. Four More!

Spring is almost here and with it comes the return of the Frozen Four training series in Plainville Connecticut. With races scheduled for March 1, 8 15 and 22 the Frozen Four offers the first road racing of the New England season. New for 2020 is a standalone race each week for Women category 3 & 4 and Novice Women.

The CCNS Clinics will also return each week so if you are new to the sport or looking to get better at criterium racing the folks at CCNS will be there to help you out. Registration for the Frozen Four races is now open at the official registration partner of NEBRA BikeReg! Click the link below:
