And Away We Go!

Find all the latest events including the Frozen Four Women's Clinic at our Official Registration Provider BikeReg

Learn to Turn at the Frozen Four

The Frozen Four training series in Plainville Connecticut gives you a chance to get pack on the pavement for some early season racing. But did you know that each week there are clinics available to help you up your criterium racing game?

A 25 min clinic, led by the nationally-recognized coaches at CCNS, will progress through four weeks and will teach the fundamentals of safe pack riding and smart bike racing. Feel free to jump into any week.  Juniors may participate in the clinic free of charge, regardless of their participation in a race that day. Youth coaches from the CCAP will be on hand to offer further support to junior riders in the clinic and the Category 5 race.

NEBRA Rankings presented by BikeReg returns for 2020

Once again the New England Bicycle Racing Association is teaming up with our Official Registration Partner BikeReg to bring you the NEBRA Rankings! We will once again be tracking results from each road and criterium race in New England to determine the most consistent racer throughout the season.

2020 will see an expansion of the categories to recognize more age groups for the Masters Women and we will give you a full rundown of the age groups and how we will be parsing race results in the next newsletter.

At the end of the season we will again be awarding custom NEBRA Rankings p/b BikeReg jerseys to our champions in each category.

Important Event Waiver Reminder

As we get underway with the 2020 season NEBRA wants to remind Minor Athletes (under the age of 18) that they must have the event release form / waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian either in person or online. Coaches managers or teammates may not sign the waiver in place of a parent or legal guardian.

In cases where a minor athlete is travelling without a parent or legal guardian a blank waiver may be signed prior to the event by the parent or legal guardian and then the event information can be filled in on-site. In this case each waiver must be signed (do not sign once then copy), and the event information must be filled out on race day (please don’t hand in a blank signed waiver).

Try Tri?

With every year it seems New England's riders and racers are doing a wider variety of events. Is 2020 the year you branch out to a multi-sport race? A mixed terrain ride? Or even a running race?

If this sounds interesting then the Race Mania Summit and Expo might be right for you. Held on Sunday March 16th at the BU Fit Rec Center there will be opportunities to meet events clubs and athletes from a wide variety of sports. There will also be clinics demos and workshops throughout the day. For more info visit https://race-mania.com/ and if yo come to the event stop by the NEBRA booth to say hello!
