Miracles Everywhere Leadership Gathering Aug. 30

Registration Open for 2018 Bishop's Clergy Convocation with the Arbinger Institute 

Instill hope and inspire reconciliation at the 2018 Bishop's Clergy Convocation with GNJ clergy as we go deeper to engage in peacemaking in times of uncertainty. Applying concepts from the Arbinger Institute and their work Anatomy of Peace, GNJ clergy will explore leading through change in a diverse mission field. The event will be held Nov. 12-14 at the Ocean Place Resort in Long Branch, NJ. Come for renewal, learning, and fellowship. Build relationships and unlock your imagination with clergy who meet monthly for 8-10 months to explore ideas, expand horizons and create synergy. Congregational Development Grants for 2019 
GNJ provides development grants to leaders and congregations for innovative ministry that connects with people in the community and develops lay and clergy leadership to make disciples and grow vital congregations to transform the world. In alignment with our new strategic plan, particular emphasis will be placed on starting new faith communities, growing youth ministry, growing worship attendance to the next size, and engaging in missional ministry in the community. Click here for more information and to download the application form. Seeking Part-Time Worship and Ministry Design Coordinator 
GNJ is seeking a part-time coordinator to produce resources for congregations for worship, small groups and local mission opportunities. The coordinator will also work collaboratively to promote, implement and evaluate the effectiveness of the resources. Click here for job description and to apply.

As GNJ enters into the next season of church conferences, you will find many redesigned resources and instructions available to help you complete your reports and improve overall user experience. Director of Development 
Applications for the position of Director of Development for the United Methodist Stewardship Foundation of Greater New Jersey are being sought. The position will further the mission and ministry of GNJ by organizing and leading fundraising campaigns, cultivating and raising large gifts, and planning, and encouraging congregational investment in the Stewardship Foundation. See the position description and application here

CUMAC is thrilled to debut a new fundraiser this year called FLAMES! Hispanic/Latino Caucus Supports One Church Plan
The Hispanic-Latino caucus of The United Methodist Church is backing the One Church Plan, which would leave decisions to allow same-gender weddings up to churches and gay ordination up to annual conferences. Click here to read. 
49th NEJ BMCR Annual Meeting  
The Northeastern Jurisdiction of Black Methodists for Church Renewal will hold its 49th annual meeting "Building Bridges Together with Love and Unity" on Oct. 11-12 at St. Mark UMC in Hanover, MD. Click here for more info and to register.
