I'm sending out one last call for "Poetry and the Body" a day long poetry workshop that is happening this Saturday, August 25 at Boston's GrubStreet.
The class will run from 10am-5pm with an hour break for lunch. We'll talk and experiment with poetry craft tools, and explore how our poems can be vessels for exploring and giving voice to our experience and our identity. We'll get curious about the ways writing into what feels challenging or complex can bring profound integration, healing, renewed self-connection, & extraordinary relief. And how our self-compassion combined with our writing practice helps us to see ourselves anew. There will be time to write, and time for group workshop---either what you've drafted in class, or a piece you are currently working on that you've brought with you.
