We hope you all had a great holiday and time away from work with your family and friends. It was certainly a refreshing break over Christmas - a well deserved one for all of our staff - as they too got to enjoy some time off.

Organisation is the key to the start of the year and many clients and architect's have begun knocking on the door asking for Tender submissions so that they can begin their project in time for Christmas 2017.

If you have a project that is on the cards, then please let me know now so that we can get organised together to achieve the results you are after.
Current Projects - We completed Northcote, Brighton and Canterbury before the end of 2016 and currently we are organising some photo-shoots with our Interior Designers so that we can show you some final shots!

Over at Hawthorn the second storey frame is up and the roof is going on this week. We have the Render booked in for next week upstairs and then we are installing Hebel Power panel downstairs.

Toorak has been rendered, the plasterers are heading in on Thursday and we are finalising all of the joinery as we speak. We have a new timelapse video in the Projects section and this time it shows you how we install our Expanded Polysterene Sheet (EPS) then render over the top of it.

If you are considering a renovation at the moment, then feel free to get in touch with any of my team and we would be happy to provide any guidance that you might need.

Hopefully you all enjoy our newest monthly email, I would appreciate any feedback that might help us make it a more engaging publication.

- Tim Walker, Director
This Month - We got this project wrapped up and handed over to our happy clients just before Christmas. We even had a months worth of extras that we managed to slide in and keep the same finishing date!

Overview - Our clients have worked with their designer to open up this Victorian Weatherboard home in a leafy pocket of Northcote. We've added a new main bedroom with WIR, Ensuite for Mum and Dad, along with new timber flooring and joinery to the existing bedrooms. A central Laundry backs on to a new Kitchen, which flows through nicely to the Living room and new Playroom at the back of the property.

We've maximised the light and outlook in to the backyard with classy black Aluminium double glazed Stackers, Sliders, and Fixed panel windows. New Wormy Chestnut Timber floors will transition beautifully in to the existing polished concrete Living room, and accentuate the modern finishes throughout.

This Month - The second storey frame is up, with the inspection going ahead today. The roof plumbers are booked in to install the top roof next week, and they have already installed the lower roof. The render is booked in too and they will start installing the EPS sheets after the long weekend. Making good progress here!

Overview - Hawthorn is a second storey extension to a stunning 1930's semi detached clinker brick home. The rear two thirds of the home has been demolished to make way for a split level extension. Going down four steps into a light filled Family/Meals room with nice open plan and a view into the Northern entertaining area with swimming pool and deck. Upstairs we have 2 new spacious bedrooms, bathroom and built in robes.
This Month - Fortunately we got the renderer's to the job just before Christmas and they made sure the place was water tight and locked up. All the rough in has been completed and the insulation goes in, then the plasterer's will follow suit over the weekend. Joinery is confirmed and lined up and we are looking forward to the project taking shape!

Overview - Toorak is a double fronted solid brick period home that we are demolishing the back north eastern quarter of the home, and putting a small 10m2 extension that will create a large entertaining area and kitchen. Once we head upstairs, the second storey will consist of two new large bedrooms, a walk-in-robe and ensuite.
This Month - The pool was clean and ready to go for Christmas along with the new decking, alfresco and joinery. Our client's were stoked that it was all done in time for the break, even though the council delayed us a month, we managed to get it over the line. Getting a photo-shoot completed late next week so our completed photos will be up on the next newsletter.

Overview - We have been working with Victor and Michelle since November 2015 around their busy schedule as they decided to do section by section of their house when timing was right. The final stage is here and we are building a pergola and decking around their brand new swimming pool just in time for Christmas. With large Ironbark posts to be features of the pergola, and decking to match, this final piece of the puzzle will complete their beautiful home.
